Trent fitted our heat pump in May 2012 on an internal wall. The fit out was done to perfection and you don’t notice it. The main purpose was to have a unit to keep our bedroom cool and dry over summer which it has done very well. Over the very hot summer from Dec 2012 to April 2013 we set the unit to 18°C, fan on low speed for the nights. We had great sleeps while keeping windows closed to keep the insects out. Our power consumption over this time hasn’t really changed. We would happily recommend Trent and his advice to people looking for great service and a quality fit out of a heat pump.

Trent has done a fantastic job of heating a difficult area of our home. He also went to great lengths to conceal outside pipework through existing garden. Our home was left immaculately and we were more than happy to leave him alone in our home whilst he completed the job.

We wanted a cost-effective option to heat a large and very cold upstairs office space. Trent installed a Gree window unit and we are thrilled with it. It is very quiet and heats the office quickly without being set at a very high temperature. He did a great job for us and we would recommend Trent to others looking at heat pumps or air conditioning.

Tony said you wanted to know how much our electricity was with the heat pump -using our plug in energy meter. Well we range at about $4.50/day at the moment. That is with regular use of lights, appliances, some power tool usage, and the heat pump going for about 12 hours a day. We leave it on 16 deg through the night. Before, we were paying about $8.00/day when we used an oil heater and electric heater for 8 hours. So a big difference.

Just a quick note to let you know how happy my wife and I are with the quality and care shown in the recent installation of our heatpump. Having recently painted the outside of our house and as a tradesman myself, I had a good look around at the job you had done. I could not find fault with any of the workmanship! Down to the pavers you laid the unit on and the silicone around the ducting, I must say I was very impressed. Not a scratch on the new paintwork and everything cleared up and tidy. As the employers of several appliance servicing technicians, we knew that none of them were specifically trained to size and install heat pumps. We recognised that we needed an expert in the field to advise on size, capacity, brand and the installation. We called Trent Sissons of Heat Pump Professionals, a trade qualified supplier and installer of heat pumps. Trent was round within 6 hrs of our call and was able to advise us on all these things. He was able to work in with the builders and quietly and efficiently (with no mess left) installed 2 Mitsubishi heat pumps. They very quickly and efficiently heat up a playroom, 3 bedrooms and a hallway, making the whole family a lot more comfortable in the winter. They also cool a bedroom down very quickly on the hot nights that we have recently experienced. By dealing with Trent, we didn’t have to traipse around the shops looking at heat pumps, we didn’t have to do any research on the internet for hours and hours and we didn’t have to put one of our own employees on a special course to install it. We already had a wood burner but wanted a quick heating option to use in the morning and first thing when we got home in the afternoon. Trent came round, measured the room and looked at the layout of our open plan lounge, dining and kitchen area. He recommended a unit and installed it in the best position for heating this entire area, as well having some flow through to the bedrooms. The heat pump is ideal because we can set the timer to turn on before we get up and turn off before we rush out the door. We have not had any unexpected change in our power bill because Trent showed us how best to use it to ensure energy efficiency. So no more rushing around trying to get the wood burner going. We were very impressed with Trent’s work and pleased we used a trade qualified installer.

As an older person I began to struggle with the continued organisation of dry firewood for my wood burner. I needed something much easier so I invested in a Heat Pump. I can set it to come on early morning and after the cold winter just experienced this is wonderful; waking to a warm home.
